After yesterdays big car journey we chose not use the car at all today. The fine weather is getting repetitive . . . we didn't take waterproof coats either ! Arboreal silhouette. The girls make their way down to the lake. Flat calm and almost perfect reflections . . . except for those caused by dogs and ducks. Rannerdale Knotts across the lake. We stop at the beach for a little light entertainment. Gareth checks out the hovercraft controls.
Moving on round the shore of Crummock Water, we get a view of the pump house through the trees.
Click here or on either photo for an wider annotated panorama. Grasmoor Direct . . . please invert the screen to see the photo as taken. With the dogs distracted elsewhere the reflections are stunning. Spoke too soon - you'll have to call it art instead. Paula waits for the others to catch up as we leave the lake and make our way back home. The appropriately named Grasmoor House.
